      @ Josh: Ja, aber es sind nur 11 Monitore :D

      Ohne Spass, diese Triangels beachten viele privaten Trader kaum oder gar nicht, für mich sind sie immer präsent, speziell wenn man weiss, das grosse Orders im Cable im Interbankenmarkt meist über den Umweg EURUSD und EURGBP gehandelt werden.

      Dreiechsbezeihung

      Mein Ausstieg im Cable war soeben ein klassischer Fall der Dreiecksbeziehungen.

      Das Szenario: EURUSD steckt in einer 5 Pips Range fest, offensichtlich herrscht am Markt Konsens über die Parität, EURGBP ist an einem massiven Widerstand angekommen, 0,67 ist schon ein paar Tage die Schmerzgrenze, also kann der Cable nur weiter nach Norden falls EURUSD auch steigt oder EURGBP den SP knackt.

      Beides ist in Anbetracht der Marktverfassung unwahrscheinlich, also flat.

      so hab ich es aber nicht gemeint. Das hat mit der Dreiecksbeziehung nichts gemein. Die Dreiecksbeziehung kam hier auf im Sinne von der charttechnischen Formation "Dreieck" im Euro. Hat also primär nichts mit anderen Währungen zu tun.

      schon klar, das mit der Dreiecksbeziehung habe ich hier eingebracht. Ich habe die unterschiedliche Kursbewegung im cable gegenüber dem euro und jpy gemeint. Hat sich erledigt. Danke :)

      Mag der Pessimist auch Recht behalten - der Optimist hat bis dahin besser gelebt.

      The market listened closely to what Feds Chairman Greenspan had to say on Thursday. Haws got reinsurance, the US will keep adjusting interest rates upwards, expect the next 0.25% at the end of June and another 2 or 3 rounds before the year is up, putting the level at the 4% mark as widely expected by our colleagues trading the bond market. But it was not all rosy speech, while the economy does appears healthy and continues to grow at a good rate, some worries remain: Productivity gains are slowing, driving unit labor costs which spur inflation, the housing market ballooned thanks to riskier lending practices, higher rates will impact consumer spending and last but not least the whooping deficit and its impact in slowing growth as each year a bigger chunk of the budget is used to pay interest.
      UK Global Goods and Services Trade Deficit for April rose slightly to 3.4Bln GBP from 3.2, Narrowing trade with Europe and the US stood against an expansion in Oil imports and growing deficit with China. The MPC meeting of the BOE rates were left unchanged at 4.75%, this was fully expected.

      US Initial claims slightly better then expected at 330k, 4-week average dropped as well, this may be related to the fact that the week measured was shortened by the Memorialday holiday.


      Greenspan over, we will focus on the US Trade Balance for the month of April, after a surprise fall of some 5Bln Dollars to 55.0 in March, a deeper deficit of 58-59Bln is expected today. While this may to grow in an orderly fassion we must not forget about the effects on real money flows that come with foreign trade: Close to 100 Bln. US Dollars are currently being sold each quarter, divided against various currencies. In order to sustain a dollar rally in the medium-term, money needs to flow the other way, such as foreign investments in US stocks and bonds, the performance of the respective market will decide whether such investments continue to pour in.
      The other event is the G7 finance ministers meeting held in London today and Saturday, on the agenda: Dept relief for the poorest nations and US Treasury Secretary Snow campaigning for China to relax its currency stand

      Todays Risks:

      Euro dipped to 1,.2175 low while Greenspan was talking, since it has rallied to 1.2240, but I very much doubt day-traders will continue to play the correction to 1.24. Instead, the EURUSD may quickly test new lows, closing another Friday at the extreme. Target level 1.2000 for next week.

      ich habe immer eur/usd -> gpb /usd -> und usd->jpy als Dreiecksbeziehung betrachtet. Und wie Firebold geschrieben hat führt eine Bewegung im GPB normalerweise zu einer ähnlichen Bewegung in den anderen Paaren.
